A relative is coming to St. Louis in the spring with her three year old and I put together a list of ideas of things to do. Thought I’d share it here in case anyone else would find it useful!
UPDATE: My relative said that her toddler wouldn’t be interested in most of these things. Oh well! Maybe this list would be better for a 4 or 5 year old.
Some fun things to do in St. Louis with a toddler
Bob Kramer’s Marionnettes Show (since 1963) – guy does a show with puppets he makes himself – awesome
Delta Dental Theater (learn how to brush your teeth and not be afraid of dentists)
The Magic House – the most amazing attraction for kids – used to love it when I was little
The Zoo – especially the penguin exhibit
Go to the top of the Arch
Tour Busch Stadium (where the St Louis Cardinals play)
Budweiser Brewery Tour? Lots of moving parts and machines – and the Clydesdale Horses
St Louis Science Center – kids discovery room
Planetarium show – so much fun – loved it when I was little
Citygarden – outdoor garden with sculptures in the city
Ride the Metrolink (trains) – to anywhere!
Carl’s hamburgers (tiny place – sit at the counter)
Other ideas: Grant’s Farm, Eckert’s Farm (if in season), Godfrey’s Corn Maze (in the fall)
